Mood Orbs is made by DELAI. It is a private, local-first mood tracker: you log how you feel, hour by hour, and it helps you notice what keeps showing up. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short answer is: almost nothing leaves your phone.
By default, nothing. Mood Orbs stores everything on your own device, in the app’s private on-device storage:
There is no Mood Orbs account and no Mood Orbs server that receives any of this. We cannot see your moods, and we have no way to read what is on your phone.
Orb Packs are optional, cosmetic purchases. When you buy one (or restore a purchase), Apple processes the payment and our purchases provider records that a purchase happened and which pack it was, linked to an anonymous identifier the app generates for your device. That record exists so your purchases can be restored and so the pack unlocks.
We never receive your name, email, or card details. Apple handles the payment; we only learn that a pack was bought, refunded or restored.
Any reminder Mood Orbs shows — a Move reminder or a weekly recap — is scheduled on your own device. There is no server that can send you a push notification, because there is no server at all.
We deliver app updates through our app-update provider. This moves app code and images to your device; it does not collect personal data, and your moods are never part of it.
Because your mood data never leaves your device, there is nothing to share. For purchases only, Apple and our purchases provider receive the anonymous purchase information described above. We do not sell data and we do not share anything for advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Your moods, tags, Moves and settings remain on your device until you delete them in the app or delete the app, which erases them. Anonymous purchase records are kept by Apple and our purchases provider so purchases can be restored and for accounting.
Depending on where you live you may have rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR or US state privacy laws. Since we hold no personal data about you on our side (beyond anonymous purchase records), most requests are satisfied simply by the data living on your own device.
Mood Orbs is a self-reflection tool. It does not diagnose, treat or provide medical or mental-health advice, and it is not a substitute for professional care.
Mood Orbs is rated 4+ and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal data from anyone, children included.
Your data is stored in the app’s private storage on your device, protected by your device’s own security. There is no central database of your moods to breach. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change is material.
